This is where I come in&#8230;I&#8217;m Mom&#8230;Super Mom. After a night of pizza and chips, something healthier is in order (well, healthier except for one ingredient&#8230;but that ingredient really makes it!  If you want, you can omit the condensed sweetened milk but you&#8217;ll probably not get the Level 5 &#8220;MMMM&#8217;s&#8221; this smoothie evokes.)</p>

<p>*<strong><em>Ginormous</em> </strong>(as in &#8220;These toilets are ginormous!&#8221; &#8211; I love the movie &#8220;Elf&#8221; with Will Ferrell and use this word whenever possible.)</p>

<p><strong>Question &#8211; How do you know if yogurt is spoiled? </strong>I mean, isn&#8217;t it supposed to be soured?  I never quite know.  Or what about cottage cheese.</p>
<p>Kid:  &#8220;It&#8217;s curdled, Mom!&#8221;<br />
Mom:  &#8220;What is it?&#8221;<br />
Kid:  &#8220;Milk!&#8221;<br />
Mom:  &#8220;Throw it out!&#8221;</p>
<p>Kid:  &#8220;It&#8217;s curdled, Mom!&#8221;<br />
Mom:  &#8220;What is it?&#8221;<br />
Kid:  &#8220;Cottage cheese!&#8221;<br />
Mom:  &#8220;It&#8217;s good.  Eat it.&#8221;</p>
<p>But I digress.</p>
<p><a href="http://frantichomecook.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/smoothie4b.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-202" title="Fruit Smoothie" src="http://frantichomecook.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/smoothie4b.jpg" alt="" width="400" height="641" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://frantichomecook.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/smoothie51.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-204" title="Smoothie" src="http://frantichomecook.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/smoothie51.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="260" /></a></p>
<p>Ok, when it comes to blenders, I like living on the edge.  At this point, I realized I was close to a smoothie covered kitchen and backed down.  I poured out about half and added the ice in batches.  But if you want to channel your inner Clint Eastwood and go one on one with the blender, go for it.</p>
<p><a href="http://frantichomecook.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/smoothei6.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-205" title="Fruit Smoothie Recipe" src="http://frantichomecook.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/smoothei6.jpg" alt="" width="435" height="653" /></a></p>
<p>There ya go&#8230;a super healthy (mostly) smoothie that kids will devour.</p>
