Oh baby, oh baby, oh baby…I think I’m in looove. I also love my big old cast iron skillet. I guess you could say I have many loves. I feel like such a floosy LOL!
Actually, it is an average salsa. In Mexico we have two basic salsas, red made with tomatoes, and green made with tomatillos. I like the sweet taste of tomatoes, but the tart tomatillos make great salsa, maybe even better than red. YUMMY!
All dishes look very delicious! I am interested in the food culture of your country. And I support your site. If there is time, please come in my site. From Japan http://food-soybean.blogspot.com/

That sounds delish. When I make it for hubby and me (sans kids), I add more! Bring it on!

My favorite fruit is grapes. Because with grapes, you always get another chance. ‘Cause, you know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. But if you have a crappy grape, no problem - just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.’ — Demetri Martin

Yummmmmmm! Tomatillos rule. Any chance of a recipe for red tomato salsa (similar to the Mexican restaurant type) anytime soon? We love you Francie!

Not nearly enough jalapenos! My girlfriend makes salsa almost identical to this but we use near 7-8 jalapenos!
