Smores on a Pocky: Have your stick and eat it too

Smores on a Pocky: Have your stick and eat it too

Americans love any food on a stick. Corn dogs, popsicles, fried cheese, cheesecake, you name it, we put it on a stick so it can be sold at a county fair.

The only problem with food on a stick is disposing of the stick. Until now.

This is Pocky
A Pocky is a cookie, but technically a “candy covered biscuit stick.” I get them at the Asian market near our house, but I think World Market carries them too. I like to call them sticks you can eat.

Marshmallow dipped in chocolate

You don’t want the chocolate too thick because it doesn’t coat well and might break your stick Pocky.

Assemble some bowls of yummy dipping stuff.
Yummy dipping things

Voila.

Pocky! It must be fate that I popped in here, because just today my daughter was Pocky-Pestering me to death in the store. She wants those things like nobody’s business. At least now I have the excuse of using them in a very clever way. Cute post, and nice blog!

How cute are those. Such a simple idea and I am just finding it. These would be great for the holidays all the colors and combos. Great recipe I would of never thought of using a pockey. I made something similar for my daughters valentines party we used lolipop sticks and double stuff oreos, dipped them in melted chocolate and rolled them in sprinkles and placed each in a little bag with a ribbon around the stick. The kids loved them. I am going to try this version with marshmallows.

[...] You could always put a popsicle stick under these and make lollipop cookies.  You know I love me some food on a stick. [...]
