Top posts of 2008 (according to you)

Confession time…I started this blog on a whim one afternoon in January on one of those rare occasions when actually had enough time on my hands to be bored.    This blog was born in the span of about 15 minutes when I came up with the odd blog title (my best friend pointed out that “Frantic” probably wasn’t a good word to convince people you knew what you were talking about!) and began whipping out some posts.

Looking back, it’s actually been a lot more fun than I anticipated.  Sure I had some lows (I hear a lot about having “man hands” and some of you take the definition of “healthy” veeerrrrry seriously!) and some highs (what cool readers I have!) and this little experiment now has over 500 subscribers in its first year (wow, thanks!!)

So I thought we’d take one of those look back thingies…you know like on Happy Days when the Fonz would get in an accident and they’d play that depressing music while showing the montage of Fonzie hitting the jukebox and getting the girls and riding his motorcycle so you’d get all teary eyed and then you’d see him in the hospital bed and he’d open eyes and give the thumb and say “Aaaaaay” and you just knew he’d pull through? Yeah, like that.

So this is Frantic Home Cook’s montage thingy.  Here are the top hits from our first year. Plus, you know, these looking back posts on New Year’s are, like, totally original.
